My name is Ishan Outram and I love to draw, write, and create videos. I commenced with artistic expression at the age of 3, when I began to sketch original characters (concept art) and create unique stories along with them.

Art pauses a moment in time, enabling me to envision the world from  different perspectives. I believe a lifetime is like a work of art, the many different paths one can take can influence the tone of the experience.

I have always found relaxation in sharing my internal dialogue, which has prompted me to write several short stories and publish a fantasy fiction novel. In addition, my artistic endeavors have led me to create films and videos. I admire the fluidity of moving images across the screen, which prompted me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Cinema/Interactive Media and Art at the University of Miami and start my own multimedia business, called Your Story LLC. 

My accolades include winning  first place at the Young At Art Museum at age 3, co-authoring and publishing a children’s financial literacy book at 15, creating my own national award winning segment (called “Ishan In His Natural Habitat”) on the morning announcements throughout high school, and receiving over 40 national/regional awards (short story, humorous segment, hand drawn illustration, editorial cartoon, etc.) from competitions such as Student Television Network, Scholastic Writing and Art Awards, National Scholastic Press Association, and the Florida Scholastic Press Association. Recently, I showcased my latest mandala series, "The Oneness Series," at Spectrum Miami 2022 (Art Basel Week).

Therefore, experiencing major milestones, coming of age, and embracing a myriad of moments are similar to the lengthy process of completing a piece of art. Although the creation of art unleashes infinite potential in me, it has been a lifelong roommate always beside me, progressively opening new doors and opportunities for personal betterment.  

I wish to share my unique artistic vision and passion for expanding human perspectives on a significantly grander scale.
